obstructed view slow breakfast
i was not happy with a few things. the advertised river view from the 'king room lake view' was obstructed by trees , which was misleading. also , the breakfast service was slow , and i had to wait an unreasonable amount of time for a simple order of toast.

a nice stay

convenient location clean bedroom modern bathroom lovely view
the location suited my travel plans perfectly. the bedroom was clean, well-kept, and included numerous plug sockets. the modern bathroom was recently refurbished, i found no faults. the river view from my room was lovely, even at street level.
street parking required some attention to avoid charges during certain hours, it was slightly inconvenient.

Excellent Stay on the River

riverside location bespoke breakfast
The room was clean and large. The host provides a bespoke breakfast. I chose the scrambled eggs. I enjoyed the riverside location. It was also close to both the main town and local restaurants.

the room featured tasteful décor and good amenities. i found the river view relaxing. breakfast was AMAZING!!! leah offered great local recommendations. the hotel provided a parking permit, and i parked close by.

Wonderful Stay on the River!

This accommodation boasts a fantastic location right on the river. The town is only a short walk away! Our host provided great recommendations and cooked a wonderful breakfast. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable too.
The on-street parking situation wasn't amazing. It took a little while to find a spot close by.

The room included a large, comfortable bed with fresh linens and plump pillows. I slept very well. There was a modern en-suite bathroom that included fluffy towels, premium toiletries, and a power shower, and it was perfect after a long day of exploring.
